Hi guys, I just had a quick question. I am currently in the process of applying for an unmarried eea family permit visa inside the UK. When applying for my visa I used an immigration company, but as of last week it just doesnt feel right. After trying to get hold of them last week I was told they are no longer in that office, and I had no way of calling them. After emailing everyone I had been in contact with at the company I finally recieved a call from a new person at the company regarding my concerns.

Anyway, What I am worried about is, since sending them all my documents (including passport, current BRP, girlfriends passport, and everything else they requested) I havent received any emails or anything proving what stage my visa is at. The only exception is the request for the BRP which I have completed.

So I was just wondering, is it normal to receive nothing at all? The fact that the company is no longer in their office, and the fact that they are hard to get hold of is scaring me a bit. At this stage I just want to know is there anyway I can contact the home office or anything to make sure my visa is currently being processed? and that the government definitely has mine and my partners passports?

This is my timeline so far.

Date that the agency apparently sent my application to the home office: 13th August
BRP request: 16 August
BRP completed: 22 August

If anyone could help me it would be great, as it was already a stressful process before this, and now its just horrible.

They’d ask for your gwf number,your reference number

@jaydh unfortunately from what you’re saying it doesn’t look good. Demand your passport back as soon as possible and get help from a solicitor instead.

What will happen if you receive the family permit after October 31 or they won't issue anymore after October 31?

Until the beginning of 2021 nothing will happen, I guess

Oh okay. Today is my 20th working day. Got 2 not straightforward mails. I’m also hoping to hear something this week. Praying it doesn’t take 30 working days to get an answer.

Also, contacting them isn’t a priority for me because it doesn’t seem to speed up the process nor answer any requests whatsoever; but I’ll have to do that if it takes too long.
