You will get an email or text message from TLS Contact center that your decision has been made and you passport is being couriered. UKVI will also send you an email once they despatch your documents.

How much longer should I give it before I start contacting them and Is there an email address that I could email to find out the decision status.

Hi,
There is no way to check the status of the pending application. I believe because of festive season there is an unexpected delay in decisions, however after 15 working days yous should expect outcome anytime. If you want to escalate I suggest after 15 working days fine. You have to look how to contact UKVI relating to your case on their website.

Hello House, I’m an EU citizen and applied for an EU family permit visa for a first dependent mid December and haven’t received a decision yet. I’m applying for a second dependent, the part where they ask whether I’ve ever sponsored anyone to join or accompany me to UK do I choose yes or no since decision hasn’t been made on the first one yet. Thanks

Hi all, just wanted to post my timeline and supporting docs in case it helps anybody.

Surinder Singh EEA Family Permit for my wife. Applied from Berlin.

Online application: 16 Dec 19
Biometrics: 19 Dec 19
Acknowledgement of receipt: 2 Jan 20
Decision made email: 13 Jan 20
Picked up passport today: 14 Jan 20 (FP stamped 6 Jan 20)

Docs:

Passports, certified copies (I have dual nationality)
Article 10 residence card
Work contacts for both of us
Employer's letters
Tenancy agreements
Residence registration certificates
Other correspondence etc. showing shared address (from the tax office, health insurance etc.)
Pay slips for both of us from the last 6-12 months
Bank statements from last year
Tax returns from last 2 years
Centre of life docs: Gym contracts, travel cards, etc.
Social security certificates
Language school certificates for both of us
My diploma/confirmation of study from my time studying here
Proof of comprehensive insurance cover here
Pics of us, chat logs, marriage cert.
A few other things from credible third parties that showed both relationships and shared address.

Anything not in EN was translated and certified.
Around 500 pages in total.

We probably went overboard, but I wasn't taking any chances – I've also been living here for almost 5 years, and as anybody in Germany knows, that means a lot of paperwork.

Hope it helps somebody. Good luck!!! :D

please help us. my sister applied for EEa family permit visa last July 2019, and up till now costumer service keeps giving us the same answers over and over. their reason for taking it that long is bacause of the brexit issue but 7 agonizing moths of waiting, they even told us to wait for 15 days and that they already escalated the complaint but still 15 days had passed and still no news about her application.

Hi everyone here is timeline of my EUSS Family Permit, I am the father of a minor 17year old EEA National studying in UK

EUSS Family Permit Online Application - 26/09/2019
Biometric at Islamabad, Pakistan - 03/10/2019
Acknowledgement of Application - 09/10/2019
Not straight forward Email - 15/10/2019
First escalation by phone - 03/10/2019 ( paid 16.10£)
Second Status by Email - 20/01/2010 (paid 5.48£)

They replied to my email "Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

With regards to your enquiry you have contacted the incorrect department - we deal with visas .

About an EUSS refer to 03001232253 which is a UK number free of charge if you are calling from the UK.

They deal with citizenships, nationalities and settlements within the UK."

I am confused that the same department told me on the phone that my case is awaiting decision on 3rd Dec 2019, and now they have told me something different. I will call the provided number tommorow and keep you guys posted.

It has been 75 working days, and I am getting a bit concerned, as my spouse who is with my son in UK needs medical attention, and i have been waiting anxiously to join them.

Anyone who can advise in the meantime please

Regards

Hi Guys
I am EU national with settled status and I applied EU settlement scheme family permit for my mother in law. My husband is British.

Timeline:
Online application: 27/11/2019
Biometrics: 06/12/2019
Email from Liverpool: 11/12/2019
Called UKVI 20/12/2019 and decision was made
Application received in VAC email: 31/12/2019
Passport ready to be collected: 02/01/2020
Family permit approved with 18/12/2019 date on it

Documents submitted
Eu national: employment contract, Settled status letter, 6 months payslip, 3 years P60

Husband: UK marriage certificate, 6 months payslip, 3 years P60, shared bank statement

Relationship: UK gov approved DNA test between Son (my husband) and mother. (We didnt have birth certificate). 6 months money transfer receipts, photos and flight tickets

Additional documents: UK children birth certificates, mother in law TB certificate.

I also included a supporting statement explaining that we wanted her to come stay with us. We probably didn’t need to include some of these documents but we thought better to avoid any reason for rejection. We did it without lawyer but this forum was VERY helpful and we got lots of helpful information that in the end gave us a successful result. Very pleased.
