Hello, I’m applying for an EEA family permit, I I’m quite through but you see the part they ask you to provide your identity card, my first name on my ID card is misspelled as MANUELL whilst all my other documents bear my right name MANUEL (1 L) do I write a cover note that the disparity is an error and I’ve reached out to the appropriate quarters to correct it or or the Home Office overlooks such errors since all other details on the card refer to me and my other documents especially passport have my name with the right spelling. Please be as kind enough to help me out. Thanks.

Hi.

My wife - a non EU citizen - has an EEA family permit visa. If we come to the UK near the end of the EEA family permit visas’s validity date and apply for pre settled status does she:

need to leave the U.K. on the day her EEA family permit expires DESPITE having applied for pre settled status?

Obviously if pre settled arrives before the expiry date of the EEA family permit, this is a none issue. But it is an issue if it arrives after?

It's my 12th working day today. I am thinking of waiting till weekend to get some further updates, if not I'll definitely try calling them on Friday to find out my status.
