Congratulations brother for your successful application.

We have waiting as well for 2 months already for my parents and in laws application. I called ukvi already and they said my parents decision had been made but my in laws is still waiting. And they have escalated the case after that I paid 35£ to call for that much information and For escalation. Would you please let me how to complain to ukvi ? It’s frustrating to wait so much . Hope we will get our results soon .

Hi guys!
I’ve applied for my wife eea family permit. The biometrics were done on 15/11/2020. I’ve got the email on 24/11/2020 that the case reached Sheffield and it will be reviewed by ECO. On 10/12/2020 I got the response to my paid email that the decision is made, the visa centre will contact us for passport collection. Today is the 11th day from the email and I haven’t heard anything back. Any suggestions or advice?

Application for the EU settlement scheme family permit.
Timeline is as follows
1) Application submitted -----------------------01/09/2020
2) Biometric Submitted----------- ------------04/09/2020
3)Email UKVI paid service---------------------24/09/2020
4)Response from UKVI------------------------25/09/2020

In an email dated 25/09/2020, UKVI confirmed that a decision has been made on the application but still waiting to hear from VFS for the collection of the passport.
Could you please help to figure out where the delay is and what is the current status of the application?
Have you got any response after the email that said the decision is made?

It's a generic email, many get it. Nothing you can do to find out "details".

I would (and did) complain. The same test should apply to their performance in Covid-induced conditions as in our employment under the identical conditions. This is the form to use: https://www.gov.uk/complain-uk-visas-immigration

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration.

Unfortunately your application has not been straightforward and it will therefore take longer to process, we are unable to provide a time scale as to when individual applications will be concluded. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible. We will write to you again if there is any change to this.

Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

Hi all.. we are in the same boat as alot of people. Done biometrics and 6 days later recieved the not straight forward email .. just wondering from others experience would a refusal come before this not straight forward email or indeed does the refusal come pretty quickly and if it continues for longer period of time is this a good thing. Just wondering what experience people had . It's so stressful

Ours email was different after 15 working days:
Dear XXXXXXXXXXX

Regarding Visa Application: XXXXXXXXX

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

Please note 15 day service standards refer to some other entry clearance routes but are not applicable to EUSS or EEA family permits. Your application will be considered as soon as possible.
