Naturalisation and Applying for British Passport at same tim

Hi,

I am about to apply for Naturalisation and I have booked my NCS for April, I have been reading the forums and some people are applying for Naturalisation and their British passport at the same time?

Is it possible to do both at the same time ?

Do I send the application for for Naturalisation and British passport application form to NCS at the same time?
Do I get my referees for my Naturalisation and British passport to sign both the Naturalisation form and British passport application form twice?

Any ideas

Yes, called the JCAP scheme (joint citizenship and passport)

Yes. Well you don't 'send' it, you 'submit' it.

Do I get my referees for my Naturalisation and British passport to sign both the Naturalisation form and British passport application form twice?

Only for form AN from what I understand.

Thanks for your help, I will fill out a British passport application and submit with the naturalisation form

Passport form must be the paper form from the Post Office and not the online form. Don't forget to complete the two separate fee payment sheets, one for passport and one for form AN on last page in link below.

Passport fee payment sheet is the last page in the booklet you get with the passport form.
