Possibility of getting Family life as parent visa?

Post by fred09 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 12:11 am

Hello members,

I came to UK in 2014 from South Korea and I am currently holding a tier 4 visa and it will expire in 3 months. My British ex-partner gave birth to my son in UK and he is now 2 years old. We DO NOT live together. I visit my son regularly. I would like to apply for the Family life as a parent (5 years route) visa. I have around 6K in my bank account at the moment.

My question is:
1, How many chances do I have to get the visa?
2, I am really confused by the financial requirements as home office did not give out a specific amount that I can follow. Can anyone suggest a number?
3, If I go ahead and apply what kind of evidence do I need to show the home office.

Thank you very much for reading this, please do reply and any help will be greatly appreciated.

It should be FLR (FP), forgot to add it in the title
