Late FPS Submission. Please Help!

Post by meecee » Mon Apr 03, 2017 6:49 pm

Hi
I have a query regarding FPS. Please help senior members.
All my FPS are fine except 1, there was employee 1 who left in month 9 and another employee 2 who started in month 10. Due to some confusion the accountant submitted the FPS incorrectly, he submitted FPS for employee 1 for month 10 as well and later when I told him that the new employee 2 had started in month 10 he actually filed the correct FPS in month 11. So in short, FPS for employee 1 was filed for month 9 and 10 and nothing was filed for employee 2 for month 10 and after correction the FPS for 11th month showed the new employees starter date as month 10 and old employee leaver date for month 9 along with the late code G for new employee starter date. The PAYE and NIC was also around double for employee 2 since it added up for 2 months. Now I am wondering if there is any problem that could happen in gaining points?

If the FPS reports show the dates correctly, you should be fine

Thanks for your reply Zimba.

I actually thought to use moneysoft and go the manual way, just for my own piece of mind. However, I have 2 questions:

1. Does my FPS look alright?

2. There is a timestamp at the bottom of all the FPS and they all have the same date and a time range within an hour. I wondered if this would be an issue?Image

Please advise.

Regards

This is fine. The date/time an FPS is produced is not important

You have three choices:

1-Print it with same date, same time.
2-Remove the date and the time from the footer. Go to "reports and printing" then "options" then" remove the tick from the box". The printout will be without date.
3-Change your computer time&date settings for each printout. In this case you get the date you want.

Thanks,

There is NO NEED for all this. FPS reports are generated when you get them from the Software. They are generated ON THE FLY.
These kind of suggestions will add to the unjustified established paranoia around the subject !!
