Tier 2 ICT -> Tier 2 ICT EST ->ILR?

Hi

I came to the UK first in Jan 2010 and have been on multiple Tier 2 ICT categories. Would like to know if I'm eligible for ILR. Please can someone guide me?

My visa dates are as follows

1st Visa: Tier 2 ICT, valid from 15th Jan 2010 to 14th Jan 2011
Entered UK on 17th Jan 2010 and left UK on 14th Jan 2011

2nd Visa: Tier 2 ICT EST, valid from March 2011 until now (after extensions)..
Entered UK again on this visa on 26th March 2011. Have been in the UK on this visa with 3 extensions so far, all done while in the UK
My total absences out of UK is less than 180 days.. Have never overstayed visas in between extensions.

I couldn't understand the rules in paragraph 245AAA (ii) fully. There is a clause of 28 days gap before re-applying for a new visa, but the word 'except' is a bit confusing. Does it apply only to people who overstay on previous visa (ie.. not having valid visa during departure) or does it apply in my case as well?

If you can point out exactly when your second entry clearance visa was applied, a senior might be able to help

Hi, I applied for the 2nd visa by 1st March and the visa start date was 16th March.
