Spouse visa after husband becomes citizen

Post by coriolan » Sun Apr 09, 2017 11:25 pm

Hi!
I have a rather basic question, but cannot seem to find the official answer.

Situation: Husband has ILR and is applying for naturalisation. Wife has "family of a settled person" visa.
In case the naturalisation application is successful, does the wife have to change/upgrade/reapply/do something else with her visa? Also: is there anything special the husband needs to do in this respect on his naturalisation application?

I would appreciate if someone could point me to the relevant regulations.

Many thanks!
