Regarding ILR Eligibility under Tier 2

Post by kumar114 » Tue Apr 11, 2017 7:11 pm

Hi,
I still have time to apply for ILR.
But still want to ask one question.

Got Tier 2 in June 2013.
Left job there. Received curtailment letter.
Then applied again and Got Tier 2 again in June 2014. But there was gap for more than 2 months (probably 3 mths.) before I got new sponsor.
Currently, I have Tier 2 till June 2019.

So because there is more than 2 months gap I wont't be eligle to apply for ILR in June 2018 right?(counting From June 2013 - June 2018 which is 5 years).
But what if I apply in June 2019? (counting From June 2014 - June 2019) Cause this way there won't be any breaks. It will be 5 years continuous. Does this work? :?

kind regards
kumar

Yes you can apply 28 days before your 5 years (starting with june 2014) completes.

During your first employment, what was the gap between the date you left the job and made the leave application. It's not 60 days between end of last job and start of new job, but 60 days between end of last job and fresh leave application (provided it is ultimately successful)

Thanks rubyracer2..
Actually i got curtailment letter dated 17 march 2014 which said 'Your leave is curtailed until 16 may 2014".
and I made fresh application in 26 May.
