Hello all
Could somebody please guide me if we need to complete the new forms 04/2017 version for flrm extension and pay the new fee and also need to have an A2 certificate ???
Urgent replies will be very much appreciated as my visa is expiring on 28th April and I only have an A1 from trinity college which I used for my first Flrm application.
Please moderators and everybody help me out here and many thanks for help in advance.
Regards
SZ

Thank you Casa for the swift response.
I had read some where on the forum that the changes were being implemented from May 2017?

See the link below (page 6, point 18).
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... intent.pdf
18. The requirement will apply to those whose leave to enter or remain as a partner or
parent on a 5-year route to settlement under Appendix FM will expire on or after 1 May
2017. A partner or parent whose leave is due to expire from 1 May 2017 and who makes an
application on or before 30 April 2017 will be subject to the A2 requirement if they are applying
for further leave to remain. A partner or parent whose initial period of leave to enter or remain is
due to expire before 1 May 2017 will not be affected by the new A2 requirement

Thank you Cr001
I am sorry for being a pain but I am a little confuse here now my visa expires on 28/04/2017 so my understanding from the above is to not worry about A2 as I can still apply using A1???
Secondly do I still complete the new version of Flrm and pay the new fees.

Yes, A1 will suffice then based on the document link I have provided.
Your post does not state how you are applying, i.e. by post or in person. This will determine any further advice that is given.

I was thinking of sending it by post in next couple of days time as waiting on bank statements for last 2 years should get them by tomorrow.
But as per your advice I can book a peo appointment if need be. In either case my concern is about filling old or new version of forms as I have to apply before 28th April. Also there a a difference of feeon the forms as well.
I have 6 pieces of evidence each covering last 2 years for myself n my partner proving that we are living together at the same address.

You need to complete the new form and pay the new fees. You would only have paid the old fees if you had booked an in person appointment by 5th April.
You must apply before your current visa expires on the 28th.
Why are you waiting for 2 years worth of bank statements?

On the forms it ask for last 2 years of proofs of living with you partner that's why I requested previous bank statements.
I am submitting the following documents.
2 years payslips
2 years Gas bill
2 years water bill
2 years certificate of inclusion on the electroll register
Employer letter confirming over 5 years of employment
Both parts of driving licence
Medical card issued in 2009
Three mobile bill covering 6 months
Would these be sufficient ???
So going per suggestion I will fill in the new forms n put it in the post as next delivery to home office on or around 25th and save money for going to PEO myself.

What about tenancy agreements, council tax bills.
You don't need 2 years payslips.
You do realise you have to send all original documents, including passport and postal applications can take many months.

Did get a new tenancy agreement as I have been living at the same address with my partner for almost 8 years now so never renewed it.
But council tax is on my partners name so that will be included.
I am aware that it could take around 3 months but we don't have any plans to travel so I that's why i am trying to save money:)
Also We are getting some housing benefit but it's on my partners name as he is British and currently not working but I am showing my income which is above the requirement threshold. Would that be any problem?

Did your husband claim HB as a single person, but include your income?

Shouldn't be a problem then.

One more thing, don't forget to pay the £500 immigration health surcharge before sending your application.

Why are you posting the same question every few minutes? Someone will respond when they have the answer and have the time.
