Filling New ILR Form Long Residence ( 10 Years) Set (LR)

Post by Archer1 » Sun Apr 23, 2017 7:00 pm

Hello, everyone
I am the new member here before been a silent reader. I have found this forum very informative and helpful. While filling my ILR form for long residence and got stuck on following areas and need your guidance, please
1 ) Question D11 & E14 both sound similar about family, friends or other connections with that country should we fill them twice?
2 ) Question D 15 If you have any reasons or grounds for wishing to stay in the United Kingdom which you have not already mentioned in your application you should do so now in the box below... As am applying on basis of 10 years long residence should I have to put something in it, please?

And just to double check following things please;
1) Have to fill Five years Address history, not 10 years Am I right?
2) Documents submission;
1) Complete Application form.Set (LR) version 04/2017
2) 2 Passport size Photographs
3) All Passports
4) BRP Card
5) UK Degree plus transcript
6) Life in Uk test
My current Status is T1 Entrepreneur and am completing my 3 years soon in next month but and applying for ILR based on 10 years within 28 days of my visa expiry though main 3 days short of completing my 10 years in the UK Is that ok ?:(
Dear Gurrus ,Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hi ,
Thank you very much for your reply . I think I have posted my topic in wrong area. Is it possible to move it under 10 years long residence topic please . Which is a separate thread above .
Regards.

It is fine for your topic to stay here as its own topic for you to ask questions. Moving it to the long LR ILR topic at the top of the page means not as many people will see your posts and your questions and any responses will get lost in the confusion of who is responding to who.

Did you write the correct CVV code on the form?

HO will likely write to you if there is a problem with payment.

A couple of weeks, probably less. We don't work for HO so cannot tell you exactly how long it will take.

It is unclear what you mean by '3 days short'? If you applied for ILR LR within 28 days of reaching 10 years long residence then you are fine. This is counted from your first date of ENTRY to the UK and not first visa issue date.

If your visa expires, you can continue waiting, why do you think there is an issue?

There is no requirement that you MUST have a valid visa right up to the full 10 year period. You must have a valid visa at the time of application.

Your existing visa conditions continue while your application is being decided even if your visa expires.

You are overthinking this.

I contacted my bank again today just to make sure and for safe side of mine I have been been told it will be cleared tomorrow some times. It normally takes 3 to 5 days to clear pending transactions . Am relaxed now . I am updating this here Just in case if any other colleage here goes through the same situation than nothing to be worried but I strongly suggests that always keep a copy of your application form either hard or scanned so that you dont get confused like I was.
Regards.

The fee is deducted from my account today.
So the time line is like
Application received by HO: 25th April,
Payment Deducted : 27th April.
Acknowledgment: Waiting
Biometric letter : Waiting

I spoke to HO today and they don't send any Acknowledgment letter anymore, it takes at least 4 to 6 weeks to get Biometric letter.
