Hi there,
I was wondering whether anybody could give me some advice on a question I have not found an answer to:
I am a French citizen and have spent a total of 8 years in the UK as an undergraduate and postgraduate student, so that based on this period, I would qualify for an EEA PR card. However, I moved out of the UK in 2010, but have been back periodically typically 3-4 times a year, mainly to visit friends. However, it is difficult to prove this, since my passport did not get stamped.
I would like to apply for an EEA PR card so that I can prove my rights of residency if I ever want to move back to the UK after the brexit. However, I have the following questions:
- am I entitled to an EEA PR card, given the above circumstances?
- if so, which document can/should I submit to prove that I have retained my residency rights, despite moving out of the UK in 2010?
Best wishes
