What Happens After an Administrative Review Success

Post by sakuranomori » Thu Apr 27, 2017 8:24 pm

Hi guys,

so originally my Tier 2 application was refused, but that decision has been overturned as result of an admin review i requested. I got an email asking me to resubmit my passport at my local visa centre. I did so on 11/04/2017. I was told at the visa centre it will take about a week to get my passport with visa back.

It has now been well over 2 weeks. I went to the visa centre this Tuesday to check if maybe my passport is there and I just wasnt notified. It wasnt, and they told me there was nothing I could do but wait.

Im getting extremely frustrated, especially after everything I had to go through to get this visa, it seems like the nightmare still isnt over.
Does anyone have a similar experience and can tell me how long it takes to get the visa stamped and the passport returned?

In return, I'll be happy to answer any questions relating to eea family member or tier 2 application processes, liability for removal and voluntary departure situations and of course administrative review requests(up to the point of receiving a decision), since i have first hand experience dealing with all of the above. *sigh*

Anyway, would really appreciate if someone could put my mind at ease about my current situation.

It can take a couple/few weeks. Nothing you can do to speed up the process unfortunately. Once the application centre gets your passport, you should be notified.

I don't know if you're still active, but how long did it take you to finally get the visa after you submitted the passport?
