biometric letter delivery

Post by bradly » Sat Apr 29, 2017 1:41 pm

Hi ,
I applied for eea2 RC and after 2 month I have received an email from HO that they issued my biometric letter in 9 days ago and I should received it so far, however I didn't received it,
My questions are:

1. for delivery of biometric letter i have to sign or the post man will drop it in the postbox?
2. is there any deadline for enrolling biometric after issuing the biometric letter? if so, how many days?

1. Standard letter, 2nd class mail. No need to sign for it. Does HO have your correct address? Have you checked with neighbours?

2. Yes, you have 15 days to enroll biometrics. If you don't do so, you will get another letter giving you 10 days. After that, invalid application.

If you don't enroll biometrics after the first letter, they will send you a second one, as I have already said.

No, they will not send it to you 'special delivery' if you pay for it.

Have you asked your neighbours? Rechecked all post that you didn't maybe discard thinking it was junkmail??

You don't state the date you received an email.

Never heard of HO sending emails telling you they sent a biometric letter

but they said you should received the letter so far. so if they have issued the letter in 10 days ago. which means i have just 5 days to enrollment? or 15 working days?
