Urgent help - UK VISIT VISA - Incorrect application form

Hi

I am applying for my father to visit UK for a few weeks and I have an appointment at Delhi VFS office for the 03rd May. Fees has now also been paid.

Whilst collating the supporting documents, I have realised that by mistake, I have entered my UK address as my father's permanent address instead of entering his address in India.

This is the only mistake on the form, pls could someone let me know urgently what options do I have?

Correct it by hand on the printed version and write a letter of explanation.

When you say 'correct it by hand on the printed version', I assume you mean striking out the incorrect address and mentioning correct address on the side as well as providing a letter of explanation? Pls confirm.
