Hi guys,
I would like to know how long you have to wait for biometrics letter to be received?
App sent: 15 June
App received: 16 June
Payment taken: 20 June
Biometrics: ????? ( still waiting )
COA letter: ????? ( waiting )
It's been 8 weeks now and still didn't receive biometrics letter and my eea family permit is about to expire end of August and my employer wants COA letter from me.
What shall I do?
Thank you

Hi khitchatuhi

I did call them today and they advised me to email them again today and if I still did not get any response back, give them a call and they will see what they can do.

Yes, that's the email address I used and I got this reply

Thank you for your email to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

If your enquiry is regarding a biometric issue we will respond to your enquiry within 21 Days.
UKVI is experiencing higher than average intake at present in some routes. Additional resources are being deployed to minimise delays in processing where this is the case.
If your enquiry relates to any other issue please go to:

https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration

Details on your Enrolment Letter

Please be aware the personal details held on your biometric enrolment letter will reflect your current Passport or ID card (if EEA National). Your requested personal details have been recorded and a caseworker will consider whether these can be amended later in the consideration process.

Please arrange to enroll your biometric information at your nearest Post Office Ltd providing the service, to avoid your application being rejected.

I phoned them back and they told me that I have to wait for my biometrics letter. I went to post office and they said they can't help me without biometrics letter.
I don't know what to do now

Please note, we will not reply to your email which will be deleted.

App received: 16/06/2017
Payment taken for residency card: 20/06/2017
Payment taken registration certificate:07/07/2017
Biometrics received: 22/09/2017 after chasing biometrics team with 5 times emailing with 10 days gap inbetween and also told local MP as well who chased them for bio letter.
Biometrics done: 22/09/2017
COA: waiting????

Update :
COA received: 29/09/2017
Documents received with registration certificate for wife and residency card letter saying it will arrive within 10 days : 3/10/2017
