Family Issue - Husband Wife 20 years

Post by jadhavsameer » Thu May 04, 2017 9:38 pm

Hi all, I need your support and Advise. My parents don't talk to each other for 20 years due to family issues. And my mom is house wife living with my father but they don't talk, she is treated like slave. She is not allowed to go out or meet her parents or family members. Me and my brother are in london. I have constant argument with My father. But as you know Indian wife due to dignity and all things she never got separated. I am in currently in process of indifinte leave. How can I bring my mother to UK for long time? Please advise

Not possible unless she requires daily help with basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, preparing food etc., and the care isn't available in her home country or is not affordable.

The route to settlement for parents has been virtually closed since the Immigration Rules changed for Adult Dependent Relatives in July 2012. Be aware that if she applies and is refused, the door will be closed for entering as a visitor due to the prior intention to settle,
