Combining Tier2 general with Tier 2 Dependant

Post by Rajkot321 » Sat May 06, 2017 11:13 am

Hello
I am currently on tier 2 general visa and looking to assess my eligibility for ILR. I have been previously on tier 2 dependant and wanted to know if that period can count toward the 5 years required for ILR

Thanks

No it does not. For ILR based on 5 years residence, you need 5 years as Tier 2 General OR 5 years as PBS Dependent. You cannot combine the two to make up 5 years.
