Hello everyone,
I was refused unmarried partner visa last year due to failing to meet eligibility requirements. I'm reapplying as a spouse as my wife, and I are legally married. Never been deported or removed. But I find some of the questions on Visa4UK online application questions bit confusing.

I arrived in the UK on Tier 4 visa “Bachelors” on 19 Jan 2011, and my visa expired on 20 Oct 2014. I extended by applying for another Tier 4 visa “Masters” which expired 29th Feb 2016. I have been out of UK with my spouse to Turkey during my time in the UK. So I did put the date I entered the UK, and the day I finally left for my home country.
Or should I leave it like that? Since I already included in the section they asked:
Have you ever travelled outside your country of residence, excluding the UK, in the last 10 years?
Which I answered “Yes” including the date, the country visited “Turkey” and the reason for the trip.
Have you been deported, removed or otherwise required to leave any country including the UK in the last 10 years?
Not sure what to answer here, should it be No? Cause I left voluntarily. Cause the Yes option shows additional information which is (Country, Date of deportation/removal, The port or airport, Reason for deportation/removal)
Lastly, the additional information section: I composed a message to explain if I overstayed/why I did. Which is:
Dear Sir/Ma,
I am writing to state if I overstayed or not. I received the letter of refusal dated 27 May 2016 in which I was told to contact voluntary departure which I did. And I booked my ticket for the 26 June 16 in which I forwarded the flight itinerary to voluntary departure on 08 June 16.
Wasn't contacted till few days before my departure to ask if I had a transit visa, which I didn't know I'd be needing to get to my home country. I tried contacting Amsterdam airport to see if I could get a transit visa and the correspondent told me if I were to book for a transit visa, it wouldn't be ready for seven working days.
So I had to cancel the KLM ticket and book direct airline to my home country, which was for 04 July 16. And I was in touch with voluntary departure till I finally departed for my country of origin.
I have attached the first ticket and the second I booked and proof that I emailed voluntary departure on the date I stated.
Thanks.
