Confusion over English test and visa categories to apply

Hi admin
I have a quick question I'm British national and my wife have got FLR(o) (discretionary leave to remain) now I want to apply for her extension my question is can I apply for FLR(M) this time? or should apply for extension with FLR (O) and what type of English test she has to sit is it A1 or A2? I would appreciate your response
