Right to Family Life Article 8

Post by simplicity101 » Wed May 17, 2017 11:53 am

Hi All,

Sorry if there is already a thread under this topic but i could not locate it on here. I need some advice on how to proceed with an application under article 8 for my son who is nearly 9 years old. I am told there is a "law" that he can be granted status if he was born in and has lived in the UK consistently for the first 7 years of his life? I have two children, he is the oldest and I have no other basis on which to make an application for status unless I wait until he turns 10. Can anyone give me any advice or where I can find out more about making an application? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Can the mods move this thread to the Family Immigration forum as it is not an EEA-Route application?
