End to End : Took 4 months for processing from the day I submitted the application and 3 months after I appeared for Biometrics.

Finally my 10 year wait is over. I got my ILR on 18th Jun 2018 via postal services. I still cannot believe as this has been a long wait. I think I got a few exceptions.

1. I had more than 50 days break between my last and new visas back in 2012-2013
2. I applied via postal services in Feb 2018, which is 5 months before my actual 10 year eligibility
3. Got my ILR 15 days before my 10 year completion
4. First came to UK in 2008 on a Workpermit
5. My total absence spread over the last 10 years was about 150 days.

My take away:
1. Be honest to the HO and provide every single documentation they ask for. Keep everything crystal clear.
2. HO considers exceptions. So if you pay your taxes regularly and should proper bank and employment details, they consider it.

I wanted to share this with you in case it helps. A big thank you to all you posted their replies on my queries and helped me during my journey.

I did get a query from the HO on the 21 June 2018 for an employment letter from my spouse company and a missing payslip (spouse is paid weekly and was questioned about missing week’s payslip as we were on short trip to Edinburgh) - employment letter provided and an explanation letter provided to HO explaining that spouse and I were on holiday (the week of the missing payslip) and we forwarded flight and hotel bookings as proof of this trip.

March on to naturalisation next year!
