I had a salary increase and job change in same SOC code in January 2019 i.e. 3 months prior to applying. The salary increase took me over the ILR threshold. This was reported to HO via SMS in February 2019.

Went through the old postal route thinking it would be the safer option. Looks like applications through the new online system are moving a bit more quickly - so kicking ourselves for not wanting to be guinea pigs for the new system!

Yesterday cancelled a trip to Australia for a friends wedding. Reassured that other people who've submitted around this time recently got the approval. There's hope for us yet.

5 month of wait...
a week ago posted a letter + a cover letter from lawyer asking to accelerate the case if possible - SUPER important biz trip in a week.
no result so far - just another "application is still under consideration" email this morning

more then 4 month already... so emailed to MP on 8 April - got an answer "We are currently experiencing a huge increase in cases opened and it is impacting on the ability to respond within 28 days."

Been 5 months now. Why are they so slow?

Still waiting. Received communication on 24th April that not all documents were submitted. Went back into Sopra Steria the next day where my passport was re-scanned because of an error previously.

This is despite me receiving confirmation in January that all docs were received. My MP is escalating to the immigration minister. I’d recommend others waiting more than 6 months to the same. Good luck!
