Tier 1 Entrepreneur (Dependants)

Hi the following case is for a friend:

Hi Moderators and Friends.
I moved to UK under Tier 1 Entrepreneur in Sep 2013
Filed for extension in Jan 2017 which is still pending with the HO and the decision can come anytime soon.
I have a wife and two sons both under the age of 18 in Pakistan who I want to bring to UK as my Tier 1 dependents.
Kindly tell me what documents would be required for this, how much maintenance funds I have to show in Pakistan or UK or it can only be in UK. Any evidence for ongoing relationship with my wife etc. and how soon after I get the extension I can apply for their VISAS and how much time will they get Visa for. I will hopefully be filing for my ILR is Sep 2018 when 5 years are completed. Will they qualify with me or they will have to wait for their 5 years to be completed and apply for another type of visa with me?
Please help and let me know if you did not understand anything.

You must get the visa extension first before applying for them. To be eligible for ILR, they must live here for 5 years.
