Tier 2 (ICT Dependant) to Tier 2 (General) Queries

Post by hemark » Sat May 27, 2017 8:58 pm

Hi All,

I am currently on Tier 2 ICT Dependant visa. My current employer is ready to sponsor my Tier 2 General Visa. I am applying for Tier-2 general from india and have got few queries.

1. In my COS , Start of employment is mentioned as 01-Jun. As I need to collect my documents , it will not possible for me to travel on 01-Jun. Infact , My Visa appointment is on 12-Jun and I will be able to travel only on 01-Jul based on 10-15 working days of visa processing.
a.Will it be fine if i give my Date of intended travel as 01-Jul?
b.Does my employer need to any amendments to COS to change my start date of employment (from 01-jun to 01-Jul) as it will not match with the Visa application which i will be submitting?

2. As I am currently in india for applying Tier 2 General Visa , what should i write for "Do i live with my spouse"? I am here only to apply the visa and will be going back to UK to stay with my spouse

3. In the question "5 recent visits to UK" , Do we need to mention the dates when I have been on vacation outside UK (e.g visit to Europe for a week)?

4. I have not quit my current job with my employer and I am applying for Tier-2 General for the same employer from india. My employer has done RLMT. Will there be any issues if i am applying for the same employer without quitting my job?

Appreciate if my queries can be addressed.

Thanks,
Hema
