Transferring Vignette or Withdrawing Application

Hoping for some help with this, as I'm struggling to find the right information!

I applied for my Tier 5 visa and had it approved back in February, and my Vignette is from 1-30 May (i.e., about to expire). I now can't move to the UK until early next year.

I was under the impression that I'd be able to transfer my vignette and start my 2 years next year, no problem - but have now seen a few forums saying that the 2 years will start from the original vignette period.

Can someone please help me:
- Is it true that your 2 years will start from the first vignette period?
- Is there any way I can make it start later, by transferring my vignette say?
- Or if I withdraw my application, will I be able to apply again? (I'm not sure if I can withdraw at this point?)

Appreciate any help - this is driving me nuts!
