Tier 2 ICT Longterm to Tier 2 General from outside UK

Hi Friends,

I am on Tier 2 ICT long term visa from 13-Apr-2015, I have read the home office information and other treads in this forum. I would like to see if any chances to Tier 2 general category. I can go back to my country and resign and then apply for Tier 2 general VISA from my home country.

Could please guide me on this, your help is much appreciated.

12 month cooling off applies except in certain limited circumstances.
