thank you. Yes I applied on 10/03, enrolled biometrics on 20/03, hasn't changed to "Decided" it's still saying
"Awaiting a decision", really anxious now. How long did you wait for yours?

I applied on 3 March, submitted my biometrics on 11th of March, my online status says Awaiting Decision since 25 May. It has been 18 working days since the Status has been updated to Awaiting Decision.. Has anybody received any updates since 25th of May?

I applied in March too and my application status is still awaiting a decision.
I can see that other people from the March timeline thread have already received a decision.
I'm starting to think something must be wrong with my application for it to take that long. Even a 'decided' status update means a decision letter would still take a couple weeks to reach me.

I know...It has been 3.5 months already..
Hopefully we will get the Decision soon!

I wouldn't worry that much
For those people that applied in march
Looks like they are releasing their decisions in June
The people that applied in February had the decisions in may mostly ,some in June
So I take it that the people that applied in April would get their decisions in July
My self I've applied in may , I presume the decision would be released in august ,if everything goes ok

I've aplied the 8th of may and it says awaiting decision from the 25th of may
Even though they said that my application HAS BEEN considered and is waiting for a decision (probably just input the info on the 25th of May)
I think the the case worker still has to look at it,in order to take a decision,and there is a waiting list
I still thinking the decision for May case's would come in august ,
So for those of you waiting from march
DONT WORRY
The decision should be in by the end of the month

There's definitely some variance in how long applications take to process, but there always has been. The UKVI specifically say that naturalisation applications will normally be decided within six months (link), so by that standard, the current timescale of 3-3.5 months is doing pretty well, even if it's a come down from the two months it took for some of the people who applied in January.

Like I said before, I'm sceptical of how useful this service really is. The only gain seems to be that when the application status moves to "Decided", people know to start looking out for their approval letters and citizenship ceremony invitations. I suppose on the Home Office's end, it might cut down on the number of people calling to check on their application's status before six months are up.

Most of the March thread has not yet got approvals. I applied 17th March so it has now been 3+ months, but l'm not holding any expectations to hear back until 2-3 more weeks. This seems to be as far as the average timelines have extended from around end of Feb onwards. My online status is awaiting decision updated on 25th May. So guys don't panic just try to forget about it especially for these final few weeks although easier said than done!

Husband applied on 18/05 and we never received an email with case ID. Received a letter with a reference number but when I try to check the status online says they do not recognize the number.
I am not sure if the reference number stated on the letter is the right one because it says ''Our ref''.
The line that says your reference it is in blank (N/A).

The Our Ref number on the letter confirming the receipt of application did not work for me either.
However, your biometric letter should have the case reference number in the first line of the letter text under the address. Try that one (without the leading zero). You may also notice that Our Ref on that letter is different than that of the letter confirming receipt. You may try that too.

Keep in mind as well that the application date is fairly recent. Give it some time.

I would say that now the time to a Decision has increased to 4 months for those that applied in March. So it will probably be July before we receive our decisions.

Does anyone know what is causing this significant delay? In Jan/Feb people received their approvals in 2-2.5 months but now waiting time has increased. Less staff processing applications maybe?

Not sure, but it's annoying that it started taking much longer from the month I applied

Guys, HO says it takes up to 6 months to consider your application - why all of you asking about your application if it hasn't even passed four or five months? Calm down and keep waiting
