Thats right. If you call your council and ask for the department which books citizenship ceremonies, they should be able to help.

Did that - didn't give me any further info and just told me to wait for the HO letter. Oh well worth a try....

I applied on 30th as well . I sent email to UKVI on 12th and they said its not with CW yet ... looking at the timeline we can expect decision anytime next week may be ....
The reference starting with 2******* i believe is the correct one that what UKVI told me

yes Fan20, i got a friend who applied on the 3rd of may he got his approval last week wed, ceremony is booked for the 9th of august

The online council ceremony booking service worked with my reference number so I am guessing its only a matter of a couple of days to get my letter. Could have booked the group ceremony but that was available on 09/08 only. So want to wait for the letter to do a private one.
