My application status changed to Decided (updated on 25 Sep) and the website states the letter should arrive within 10 working days but it's been more than 10 working days now and still no letter.
Yeah, I ended up calling them and they said they will get back to me within the next 5-10 working days.... They just provided me with an update that letter was sent on 3 Oct and will arrive 10 working days from that date. I have no idea what postal service they use which takes so long to deliver. Second class is 3-5 days...navinw wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 4:40 pmohh dear.....fiv wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 4:36 pmYeah, I ended up calling them and they said they will get back to me within the next 5-10 working days.... I dont think it is by numerical order. When I was waiting impatiently for my decision last month, I just curiously tried various numbers just before me and after me like -100, -50, -25, -10, -5 , + 5 , + 10 etc.... Some of the numbers ahead of me got decided and some before me was not and there is a real mixture there. God knows in what order it is allocated

You should note that you are required to return your BRP card within 5 days of your ceremony. ILR BRP card becomes invalid once your citizenship is granted.
How will you board a flight to come back with no BRP and no British passport??Sam69 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 3:14 pmThanks CR001, yep I will send BRP card after ceremony, In short I cant travel outside UK without UK passport. I will be sending back BRP card and also applying for Indian passport surrender certificate in parallel, hence can't use my Indian passport for travel.
