'Case not straightforward' email and refusal?

Hi guys!

So, I've been going through a lot of posts here on the forums and I get a feeling that many of those getting the 'case not straightfoward' email ultimately get their visas refused. I could be wrong, but I would really appreciate if applicants who have received this e-mail got their spouse visas successfully? And how long it took?
