Parent's Visit Visa got rejected

Post by iykhan85 » Sat Jun 03, 2017 6:32 pm

Hi Folks,

My parents Visit Visa recently rejected because of multiple reasons. We are planning to reapply and am looking for advice. Your help will be highly appreciated. Please see the details below:

My Parents recently applied from Pakistan to visit us (me and my wife) for tourism and to spend time with us.
My Dad has got his retirement from govt job in 2012 and then he worked as a contractorfor 3 years from 2013 to 2016 .
My Mom is a house wife. As there was no account or property in the name of my Mom , therefore just 2 months before we applied, My DAD opened a joint account with my Mom (after getting advice from the friends and forum that both should have accounts).
The time we applied , the account was only 1.5 months old and my DAD did 6 deposits (transactions) totalling around 23 lac rupees(16K pound) .

Additionally my dad also provided additional saving account on his name (last 6 month transactions) where again there were couple of big transactions (totalling around 20 k pound).

However to support the above My Dad has also provided the 3 years contract salary payslips (totalling more than 10 million rupees) as a source of income.

In addition My dad also provided the last 6 month Pension salary transactions as a proof of another source of income.

However we totally overlooked the big deposit and didn't give any explanation. We thought that above source of income will be more than enough. There were no objections from the sponsorship document I have provided.

There were two refusal points regarding the above transactions and one refusal point regarding the intention to leave the uk.

We are looking for reapply . Can someone please advice how to make our case more stronger this time and will there be any chances of success. Has someone face the same situation ?
I will really appreciate an urgent replies.

You seem to have over-complicated matters
Your mom did not need a bank account to start with as she wasn't doing any bank transactions nor earning income. She was a dependent of your father
My mother as well as mother-in-law were dependents and did not need bank accounts to obtain visit visas
For financial wellbeing just produce bank statements of your father along with other documents such as property, fix deposits etc... whatever available
Large deposits of money need to be explained with documentation
On intent to return, you need to show that your parents have strong family ties back in your home country. Do any of your siblings/close relatives live back in Pakistan. If so, you need to produce this documentation(ID cards/photos/passport copies etc)
If your father managing property/business or supporting any dependents, these need to be produced with documentation

Good luck
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. I agree with you that we did complicate the matter. however it can't be reverse now. Now my question is when we reapply , can we omit that join account, or do we have to reapply with the same set of documents in addition to some more documents as you have mentioned?

Hi Folks,

Can someone please reply to my following questions:

1- For the big transactions (explained above) do my parents have to give clarification in words or do they have to provide the documentary evidence.

2- Can we omit those accounts (having big transactions) in our fresh application and will that create more doubts?

Regards
