I don't qualify for 1,2 or 3. It is the last sentence in the above para (i.e. already invested 50k in a UK business) that I am interested in exploring/understanding more as my source of investment would be my own funds. So the key question is: Can investing 50K or plus though my own funds in a UK business make me eligible for applying under 50k option?"You can apply if you have access to £50,000 in investment funds from one or more of the following:
1. a UK entrepreneurial seed funding competition endorsed by the Department for International Trade (DIT)
2. a UK government department making funds available for the purpose of setting up or expanding a UK business
3. a venture capital firm registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
You can also apply if you’ve already invested £50,000 in a UK business. You must have invested the funds less than 12 months before you apply"
You still need the funds from 1,2 or 3. All it means is that you can either have access to or have already invested.ahmed_2017 wrote:With reference to the link: https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-entrepreneur/ ... ment-funds
