Non visa national traveling to UK

Post by licoricewolff » Wed Jun 07, 2017 5:52 pm

If I'm a non visa national from the USA traveling to the UK, would an IO have a problem with me staying a little longer than five months?

I know you're technically allowed to stay for 180 days and the passport stamps I've gotten from visiting the U.K. say that I have six months leave to enter once I'm there, I just want to know that I won't get sent back to the US once I'm there

Please continue in your original thread to avoid the same advice being given twice

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
