Application Status changed to 'awaiting a decision'?

I finally bit the bullet and sent an email to UKVI contact center for 5-something quid and got a response that states that our application is at "AWAITING A DECISION" since 10-May-2017.

It's been nearly a month now and I'm not sure how much longer it takes for HO to make a decision after they have fully considered the application?

Is there anyone else in the same boat as me?
