EEA national, naturalised mother, British born wife

Post by Georgeyb1991 » Thu Jun 15, 2017 8:28 pm

So here is the story.

Year ago I applied for the blue card, got refused saying I had no insurance while I was studying and I was on JSA for too long.

Fine, I said, no point to appeal as it’s costy and funny thing is they sent out the result after the time I could appeal.

Anyway, this was about 8 months ago.

Since then, I am planning to propose to my gf who is British and we are expecting a baby too.

The baby will automatically get two citizenship, one will be Hungarian and the other is British.

Also, my mother has been naturalised about three years ago.

Is there any way to get the blue card without getting into the same problem?
