Post by accablues » Fri Jun 16, 2017 12:33 am

Helo everyone, I have a question .

Is it possible that I don't submit passport for my spouse settlement visa. Actually have some holiday plans , but with visa application, the passport is held back for minimum 3 months

Any advice/suggestion please thanks

Hi

This will depend on from where you are applying. There is a user pay service where applicant can keep their passport for most of visa process on an additional fee. You'll have to check for the country you are applying.

In your original thread you were posting as the British sponsor. Are you asking about submitting the sponsor's passport or the applicant's :?:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ised-table

Check the first file. Premium services outside uk. Keep my passport cost £51

Country you are applying is important as VFS global and TLS are 2 different companies providing visa services in different countries and may vary in payment options.
