Application status decided and partial IHS refunded

Hi,

Just have a query about a scenario for myself where I checked online and application status says decided on 14 June 2017. It also mentions that the decision letter has been posted and the letter should be with me within next ten days. There are contact details if I wont receive it etc etc.

I also checked my IHS refund which has been refunded partially.

I know it's not definitive to say it's approval but thinking if someone has been though similar situation or indicate if it is going to be approval or rejection!! just wondering to prepare myself for either outcome..

My Timeline:

Applied 20 Jan 2017 ( share capital 50k+ , full unaudited accounts, 2 FT jobs spread between total of 8 employees)

BRP enrolment letter dated 4 Feb 2017 received on 7 Feb 2017

BRP Done 8 Feb 2017

Complex issues letter dated 23 Feb 2017 received on 28 Feb 2017.

Following this complex issue letter I checked my whole application and found one mistake on my application form however I submitted 3 additional correct copies. Since the form was filled manually and the additional copies were from my excel the latter ones were correct.

Mistake corrected+cover letter made+CH directed towards documents submitted already(correct ones)+additional copies submitted dated 16 March 2017.

Application decided on online portal last update -14 March 2017 indicating application posted

IHS Partial refund- received on 17 June 2017(future dated 19 June 2017 on bank transaction)

Awaiting decision letter from DX: checked with them on phone: no records yet

Will bring an update as soon as I hear anything.

Very quick update.

Received the Passport(PP) and all the documents today via Royal Mail.

No covering letter to suggest it was approved. From my perception and experience it appears that PP would be sent back once the application has been accepted. Think they forgot to enclose the covering letter..!!

BRP shall follow soon. Thanks to everyone especially Zimba88 for sharing the valuable information with all of us.

Hi,

Business was in profit during the first couple of years of trading but in loss in the third year for couple of grand. I dont think this thing in particular has anything to do with the application processing however too much deviation in your PL account could give an impression of desperate applicant or unsuccesful venture which they can raise question upon. If a business is genuine there is no problem what so ever.

Hey man..thank you.. and yeah no interview but one must prepare the application and the case thoroughly. I did it myself so I knew everything by heart which really helps. At the end I went with one of the solicitor who charged me money and I know he made a mistake on my form (and because of which this got delayed). Key is to make application simple, presentable, neat as the CH at the other end is also human(use sticky notes/highlighter/folders/binders/clippers where ever possible, avoid stapling so that they can easily take documents out for scanning) . If he feel good to see well organised application he will processs efficiently in a happy mood. Make sure no error in the application which can be avoided in first place(not like mine)..
