missing visa response

Post by mulac321 » Mon Jun 19, 2017 9:15 am

Hi everyone, we applied for my Filipina fiance visa over 2 months ago, we was among the first to have the visa processed in Sheffield. we paid for priority processing, txt message service and courier service. as yet we have no had any emails from Sheffield or and text messages since we submitted the visa application.
last week we used the new paid visa status check service and we received this response:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail dated 15/06/2017.

I understand you wish to check the status of your visa application. The current status of your application is that it has been decided. The date this was updated was on the 07/06/2017. The documents will now be on your way back to you. If you selected a return courier service then you will be able to track your documents. If your documents are being sent back to the VAC then they will notify you when they are ready to be collected.

Please note the onus is upon the individual customers to ensure that they satisfy the requirement set out in the guidance material. The guidance material accompanies each and every application form. Uk Visas and Immigration is not able to give, indicate or advise upon the outcome of any such application prior to it being given full and careful consideration.

Directing you to the guidance material is the only advice we can give you. If you need any further help you should seek independent immigration advice. Immigration advisers can help you you with immigration matters, including completion of forms and representing you at a tribunal. The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) regulates immigration advisers, which means they must meet certain standards.

i have tried the blue dart and the supplychain 2go website address that is on the VFS website with no success. we are starting to worry our documents have been lost as it has been nearly 2 weeks since a decision has been made and we haven't been contacted or texted and we cant find any tracking. does anyone know if this is normal?

Hi

It can take up to 10 working days for it to reach the VAC or them to contact you.

We also paid for SMS/Call updates and hardly ever received anything only to say the application is under process at Sheffield. the only call was to say to pick up your passport.

If it has been more than 10 working days you should contact the VAC with your original receipt to find out where your passport is
