SPOUSE DOING CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON TIER 4 DEPENDANT VISA

Hi guys. I need help.

I'm applying for Tier 4 Student Visa and coincidentally my doctor wife received an offer to do "observation" at the hospital nearby my university at the same time. This not an employment but an observation role with no active duty. Can she go on applying Visa under my Tier 4 Dependant Partner?
