Post decision casework unit - spouse visa

Post by Jordan100 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 9:44 am

Hi
I have had a long process of applying for the spouse visa with my partner and as follows:
Original Application - Jan 5 2017
Original application denied - March 10 2017
Appealed decision, and won - April 18 2017
Received letter from Post Decision Casework Unit (PDCU) saying visa is being processed - May 18 2017
I have sent 3 letters to PDCU with no response - Current date 28 June 2017

Does anyone know how long it takes the PDCU to implement the visa and return my passport? They do not provide a contact number, nor do they provide any time frames. Through the process I have been without my passport for 6 months and have not been given any information on when it will be returned.

Thanks
Jordan

Hi Adaujla
I applied for ILR based on 10 years long residence on Jan 2016.
I was couple of months short of 10 years. but applied by taking my changes/risks.
My application was refused in June 2016 with right of appeal. Refusal reason was that when i applied for ILR i was couple of months short so technically i did not complete my 10 years.
I went for the appeal and attended hearing on July 2017.
Appeal allowed on first week of august.
Received a letter from PDCU in last week of september saying they are going to implement court decision asap.
Still waiting for my Visa and passport. ;(
:S

A number of people i have came across on this forum have won appeal in August-September and waiting for visa and documents. Lets hope for the best and wish all a better days with a good news that "waiting time is over".
