Working & Child Tax Credit - Applicant on DLR & wife student

Post by khalidhaku » Thu Jun 29, 2017 10:40 pm

Dear respected friends,

Could you please help on above matter:

A person on DLR 6 years route applied his baby son (born two months ago) Child & working tax credit on the basis of his work, he filled & sent form with his whole details with student wife (whereas on student wife visa mentioned that 'no recourse of public fund'). He got award letter from Tax & working tax office but mentioned on top his wife name as well.

In Aug 2017 he will send his wife application to Home Office for DLR. Please let me explain is any problem they will face to get Child and working tax credit or he is entitled to get Working and Child Tax credit.

Thanks & Regards

Do their visas say 'no recourse to public funds'? If yes, they are not permitted to claim benefits.
