I just got this reply for a enquiry made mid October
"Thank you for your enquiry and please accept our apologies for the delay in making a decision.
The application is in the final processing stages and a decision will be made soon."
What does this mean?

Spouse Visa granted: only 31 working days total from the day of Biometrics submission! I’ve expected it to be a much longer wait (at least 12 weeks). What a miracle! God hears our prayers indeed!
I’ve been away from my husband for more than 5 months! My daughter (British citizen) and I are flying back to the UK very soon. It’s been a long and hard journey for us as a family. I’m praying that God will give grace and patience to everyone who is still waiting for a decision. Keeping you all in my prayers!

Don't worry you will hear from VFS Colombo to collect your passport from new week starting from Monday. As far as i know after decision e-mail it will take another 10 business days to collect your passport. So you will hear good news soon. Keep your good hope always. Good luck to you. Update us as soon as you hear anything. Hopefully we all get visa soon.
Hi GiveZemra, i have recently submitted a Settlement (priority) application and my decision center is Warsaw. I was wondering if your application goes to Warsaw too?
AFAIK, all settlement applications are processed in Sheffield.

I'm a bit confused. When my husband went to get his biometrics done, they said to him that the supporting documents is being sent to Warsaw. There was no mention of Sheffield. Surely it is just being processed inWarsaw. What is the point of sending it to Warsaw then Sheffield?
Also take a look at this: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... _spouse_fi . This surely proves that they do handle settlement visas.
Yes from Istanbul

Date of biometrics:
30th December 2016
Date when application submitted:
30th December 2016
Date of submission:
New Delhi, India
Received the emails they sent out:
Not straightforward in August
October 31st email sent on 25th Sept
Never received the email end of October that they are still working on case.
Decision made email sent:
1st November 2017
Passport collected:
3rd Nov 2017
I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds calling UKVI call centre every week since June as well as chasing MP but in all honesty none of them did and could of done anything.
My decision was made according to God's will and having faith in the risen God Jesus Christ.
I was one of the oldest applicants waiting here having applied last December 2016.
My total wait was:
216 working days (308 calendar days).
This was one of the hardest things to bear but God never left my side and was always with me and my wife.
Have faith in the risen Lord as there is power in the name of Jesus Christ.
I hope you all get your decisions soon.
God bless.
