Yeah it is priority.
The passport is on its way to my partner so we will find out the decision soon enough.

Visa type: Settlement, Fiancé
Online application submitted: 02/11/18.
Biometrics appointment: 07/11/18 in Kuala Lumpur
Documents sent to Sheffield: 12/11/18. Had to wait for my partners IELTS and TB results to get here as he posted them right after the appointment, if we had known prior to the appointment that they didn't need to look at them he would have sent them to me sooner.
Confirmation of online application email: 16/11/18
Documents returned with supporting letter from UKVI: 15/11/18.
I had a missed delivery card from the Royal Mail because a parcel needed signing for, I couldn't get to the sorting office until today (19/11/18) and have been wondering what it is all weekend and thinking that it must be the documents because I am not expecting anything else that needs to be signed for. I was shocked they had sent the documents back so quickly and thought that maybe there had been some kind of mistake and they had been returned without being looked at, but there is a letter from UKVI included saying they have retained copies of them and we would be contacted if any further information is required.
11/12/18: Email request came through as for wage slips and work letter, it was in the original pack so I assume they have lost them. They only wanted scans so that was easy.
13/12/18: Telephone interview. One person rang me, another rang my fiance, at the same. Questions were pretty straight forward, asking about our relationship, what we done when we were together, how we keep in touch since he went back to Malaysia, each others hobbies, favourite food.. that sort of thing.
Afterwards we found out that we our answers to what the favourite food is didn't quite match up, but I am not sure how much that will go against us.
Still waiting for a decision.

We had no idea what the decision was until he got his passport back. There was no letter with the passport, just the vignette stamp in the passport.

We gave over and beyond what was required by HO. To the extent of acquiring signed statements from my bank manager. HO wanted latest payslips and chat messages. All provided in abundance. No interview call.
Will keep you posted. Everyone's time will come. Bless you all and mankind.

Can you please tell us what question thy asked u and ur partner?Gujarkhan wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 11:29 pmWe had our joint interview last week and it has now been 9months of waiting since biometrics. I was interviewed on phone and husband on video both at the same time. Has anybody had any experience of this and how long they have taken to get back with a decision.
The person on the phone mentioned that this would be the final thing needed and I should hear back quite quickly but it just makes me nervous all this waiting.
Would anyone also be able to clarify that under the eco guidance that it states if you are going to refuse no interview should be conducted and it was also mentioned on the phone all background checks and paper work has been checked and this interview was clearly done to ask how well we know each other which I can without a doubt state we know each other inside out which is why interview went very smoothly. So if I was going to get refused an interview would not need to take place ?

These are the exact words I received for each of the 4 escalations I had done and then after 7 months since biometrics they made their decision.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 5:57 amRecived this email yesterday

Questions were very simple. Anyone who is in a geniune marriage would be able to answer them. I was just worrying uneccesarily if you know and love your partner truely theres no reason to even talk about the interview. We didnt even mention it when chatting as we wanted our answers to be from the heart. By the grace of God i feel he is my soulmate and we will be reunited very soon. It is the wait that is killing me.

I had a look at all the paperwork I had submitted for my wife and realised just how much information there is to process by HO. First big requirement would be whether your relationship is genuine and for that HO needs to be so thorough and require so much evidence. This is only been made worse by the few from countries such as India and Pakistan who have abused the system thus leading to such stringent measures by HO.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 6:03 pmOk i applied at 20 june 2018, its been 6 months man, i knw why thy taking so longasingh42 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 3:52 pmThese are the exact words I received for each of the 4 escalations I had done and then after 7 months since biometrics they made their decision.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 5:57 amRecived this email yesterday
