Does anyone know what is the current processing time from india/jalandhar?
Why not simply read through the timeline only topic to get an idea of how long all Indian applicants are waiting

Type of visa applied for: Spouse settlement / Wife
Priority/Non-Priority: Priority / Moscow
Online Application Submitted: 19/03/2019
Bio-metrics taken: 21/03/2019
Documents received at Sheffield: 25/03/2019
Documents returned: none
Email stating "Your Application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer": none
Employer contacted by UKVI: none
Sponsor contacted by UKVI: none
Case not straightforward email: none
Decision made email from UKVI: none
VFS Text for passport collection: none
Passport Collected: none
Status: Pending

We are kinda concerned at the complete lack of communication. We got one standard form letter saying they had received the application, and then nothing. No documents returned, no ECO email, no contact whatsoever.

We were asked by VFS in Moscow originally to submit the documents through a website, however the site was completely broken and non-functional for over 24 hours prior to the appointment, when my wife arrived for Biometrics the staff said they knew it was broken and for us to send to Sheffield instead and gave us the paperwork for that. The fact we've had absolutely no contact since then, no documents returned, no ECO email, no phone contact at all, has us understandably concerned that something has gone wrong.

We are still only 25 working days into the 30 days, so I think there is no point trying to contact them yet, as far as I know all we can do at this point is wait until next week and see if we get the expected email when it hits 30 days.

It's a very simple and straightforward visa application, no children, no refusals, only small complications are my wife was previously married, and my financials were more complicated having to be on the 'director of a specified limited company' setup, but we had full documentation of everything as required, good relationship evidence, and our highly rated russian-UK immigration specialist lawyer was happy with everything.

Hilarious. I've been lurking here for months, reading other people's stories, I finally decide to register and post my situation, and less than an hour later we get the email.

"Dear Applicant,
TLScontact UK Visa Application Centre is pleased to inform you that your visa application process is almost over and that your passport will soon be ready to be returned to you.
You will receive an email from us soon to inform you about collection or delivery procedure."

I know it doesn't indicate success or failure, but given the complete lack of communication up until this point I can't help but turn that now into a positive, that they would have contacted me if they had had any issues.

This is what I found on HO Web site regarding VAF.

Reference Numbers
Have you ever had any Home Office or UK Border Agency reference number assigned to you? If you
made a previous UK visa application in the UK, tick “yes”
Your Home Office or UKBA reference number: If you made a UK visa application in the UK, UKBA will
have sent you a letter and it will state a case reference number. Other reference numbers might be
reference numbers on your entry clearance sticker (VAF no) or your biometric card number.

I THINK IT'S A GOOD NEWS FOR YOU. YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET THE VISA SOON

Visa approved. No contact from HO, not even a phone call, and we got it 1 week early. Feeling so good right now.

My history: My previous application was refused. I went to Uk on spouse visa but my domestic violence was refused coz I didn’t had police report. I then met my present partner. We put application on basis on relationship which was refused as we didn’t complete 2 years of living together. Which later on went on appeal. I made inland application but was refused. I made voluntary return as home office asked me to put application from India. They accepted my relationship said it’s genuine and they don’t doubt the relationship or income or accommodation but asked me to apply from India. I came back on 7th January and submitted online application on the same day. Before putting this application we completed 4 years of living together now.

Type of visa applied for: un-married settlement
Priority/Non-Priority: Non-Priority, Jalandhar India
Online Application Completed: 07/01/2019
Bio-metrics taken: 21/01/2019
--Documents sent from UK--
Documents sent to Sheffield: 21/01/2019
Documents received at Sheffield: 22/01/2019
Documents returned: Yes
Acknowledgment Email from UKVI: Yes on 15/02/19
Sponsor contacted by UKVI (if applicable): NO
Case not straightforward email: 15/04/19
Decision made email from UKVI:

58 working days complete. Still waiting 😨
70 working complete still waiting.
I hope and pray for all the people who are waiting to be reunited with their love ones 🙏
