Hello,

Thank you for the dates.

You can chase them as many times as you want anc there's no harm in that.

Your escalation will not be forwarded to Home Office as I understand it but instead, the call centre pretty much supply the information about the application status whatever is made available to them which is usually standard.

Since you submitted your application online, it has been 51 days in total. There are two people on these timelines who used the priority service (this year) and their visa was granted on the 54th and 57th day since they submitted their online applications.
so two people
only two out of so many people???
so are u meaning its quite rare to go this long?? or common?
sorry i didn't know what u meant by the 54th and 57th day comment please elabote more clear :D
Hello,

What I mean is:

Fari909 submitted the online application on 19th January and visa was granted on 14th March. Took 54 days.
Zing123 submitted the online application on 3rd January and visa was granted on 1st March. Took 57 days.

The above two used the Priority Service.

Other people who used the Priority Service and are still waiting for the visa are Heythereitsme (55 days), Zadkiel (58 days), goodw394 (113 days) and Fancy (121 days). These are total number of days since they submitted their applications online. Maybe some of them haven't updated their timelines.
Hey .. you should start counting from the day of the biometrics appointment not the online application. For me, it is the 22nd working day
Hello,

It makes no difference. I am only interested in the length of time it takes to acquire from the point an application has been submitted.

It makes a very big difference. If the time between online application and biometrics is quite large like mine, then clearly I won’t get a decision as quickly as someone who applied online on the same day but had their biometrics the next day

Who is it for?
The Visas and Nationality Service supports you if you need to evidence your English language proficiency for UK Home Office UKVI applications. This is for you if you are applying for:

Family visas, settlement or citizenship/naturalisation
Tier 1 Entrepreneur
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur
Tier 2 General
Tier 2 Ministry of Religion
Tier 2 Sportsperson
Representative of an Overseas Business visa
This service helps applicants satisfy the requirements of Home Office Appendix B, Appendix FM and Appendix W of the Immigration Rules.

What is it for? How does it help?
The Visas and Nationality service confirms that your degree was taught in English and meets the recognised standard of Bachelor, Master’s or PhD in the UK. It will also confirm a level of proficiency of English on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) if your qualification was not studied in a majority English-speaking country.

The Visas and Nationality web application process asks you relevant questions to help ensure you get the correct paperwork to support your immigration application.

Based on your specific circumstances, you will receive one or both of the below:

The Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS). This confirms the academic level of your degree(s).

The English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS). This confirms the English proficiency level evidenced by your degree(s).

UKVI case workers can check and verify these paper statements direct with UK NARIC.

Here is an example of a Visas and Nationality statement.

If your application is not for immigration purposes, you may instead be interested in our Statement of Comparability and/or English Language Assessment.

Hello,

It makes no difference. I am only interested in the length of time it takes to acquire from the point an application has been submitted.

@Heythereitsme - My visa is granted , went to collect my passport today and I did not receive any emails on the status of my visa apart from a additional documents email request on the 13th of May . By the looks of it , my visa was approved on the 14th May 2019 as shown on the letter sent to me . So yeah very prompt and quick decision. I hope you get your response from UKVI soon .

Well the subject line of the email contained VAF number and the body had the following write up :

Please provide the following document: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please send this document as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx quoting your application reference in the subject line. Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as Dropbox™ or Google Drive™.

Kind regards,

Mine was a priority visa .As rare as it sounds and might not hold true in all the cases, my approved vignette ( entry visa) starts on the the same date as the date I had written on my online application form under the 'intended travel date' section which is 20th of May 2019. Seems like they considered my intended date of travel and made sure to deliver my visa before the 20th May 2019 or may be I just got lucky.

No they didn’t request any additional documents from me
Is your application priority?

I applied on 22nd March, Went biometrics on 11th April and had eco email on 2nd May ..
I hope mine is going to be concluded soon
@Heythereitsme - My visa is granted , went to collect my passport today and I did not receive any emails on the status of my visa apart from a additional documents email request on the 13th of May . By the looks of it , my visa was approved on the 14th May 2019 as shown on the letter sent to me . So yeah very prompt and quick decision. I hope you get your response from UKVI soon .
Hey congratulations on ur visa! Can i please ask thw format of the email they sent when askes for additional documents? Because they requested additional document from me aswell on the 13th may and i am still waiting decision?

Please advise x
Well the subject line of the email contained VAF number and the body had the following write up :

Dear xxxxx,

Regarding Visa Application: GWFxxxxxxxxxxx
For:xxxxxx

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.

Please provide the following document: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please send this document as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to Sheffield.Settlementdocsrequested@fco.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line. Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as Dropbox™ or Google Drive™.

Kind regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

Mine was a priority visa .As rare as it sounds and might not hold true in all the cases, my approved vignette ( entry visa) starts on the the same date as the date I had written on my online application form for' the intended travel date' section which is 20th of May 2019. Seems like they considered my intended date of travel and made sure to deliver my visa before the 20th May 2019 or may be I just got lucky.

Oh thanks for sharing! I had the same email format sent to me on monday ! I hope my decision is soon and they conclude the application🙏🏼

It makes a very big difference. If the time between online application and biometrics is quite large like mine, then clearly I won’t get a decision as quickly as someone who applied online on the same day but had their biometrics the next day
With you they have asked for additional documents haven't they?
i think your application is about to be concluded
My biometrics was on 25th march
I got the ECO email on the 8th of April
and haven't heard anything since
No they didn’t request any additional documents from me
