I know exactly how you feel!! 8 weeks for me this Wednesday
9 weeks this Wednesday for me lol! Excruciating

Tell me about it! Omg its so so frustrating and like even if you chase up I've been told they say its in process and thats it :/
Yeah, I haven't bothered chasing up, mainly because we'd get a standard response and it costs, so pointless.

I got an initial email 4 weeks in.
I got a call 4 weeks in (same week) about my work/financial requirement.
My present employer got a call on the same day
My ex employee got a call the next day

Apart from that nothing.

Yeah I've seen some people get a response for passport collection after 9/10/11/12 weeks
What sort of questions did they ask you when you got the call?
True u might be hearing any day soon

They asked about my financial requirement evidence so:
Where do you work
Wages, job role, responsibilities, the company, what does the building look like, who's my manager, who I work with when did I start and finish, salary etc etc all work related

They rang me at 8am and the call lasted round 36mins, on the same day later on they rang my present employer with pretty much same questions to validate my answers.

The next day, they rang my ex employer

I'll send you my timelines soon

You and I are both on a similar timeline - our online application was 18/09 and I scanned the docs on 19/09

I haven’t had any contact apart from acknowledging supporting docs email

If my calculations are right - were in the last three weeks with a decision by 10 December...

Best of luck!

Yes you're calculations are right, we are on week 9! So after this another 3 weeks.

Yeah did you just have the one employment for financial requirement? I think I got contacted because I had two employments in the 12month period. Working for my current employer less than 6 months so applied under Category B.

Did you apply via access UK?

Yes best of luck to you too.

It's 12 weeks from application submission date not biometrics. I checked the email again today, and it said that. Plus my friends all got their other half's visa on the 12th week from their application submission date.

insha'Allah!

I hadn’t really thought about the application after it was submitted until these last couple of weeks and now I just keep thinking ‘please put me out of my misery,’ so I can plan next steps if it’s a refusal

I applied as one employment - 6 months slips but I’ve had no contact whatsoever. Not sure if my employer has though

This is what was said on my wife's email from UKVI:

"Please note that UKVI aims to complete all Settlement Visa applications within 12 weeks of the submission date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.
If you have paid for Priority Service we aim to complete your application within 6 weeks of your submission date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.
As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fee, is non-refundable, even if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed."

I had the same email. But it is from biometrics date. I've been told by my immigration adviser

Hi all

we submitted our fiancé visa application on the 18 September and provided biometrics on the 25 September.

It’s been around 8 weeks now or 39 working days to be exact and aside from an auto email from Sheffield on the 10th saying they’d received it we’ve not heard anything else. Btw the online TLS tracker showed as received at the DMC long before we got the auto email (but from reading on the forum that seems normal with some people not even receiving that email).

My question is is it normal for things to be so quiet? What have others experienced recently?

If you go through the threads on here you will see that it happens so for a lot of members, it takes as long as it takes, it will test your patience, test your being in every sense of the word. Should you require update there are means i.e. telephone call/email to check status of application though no guarantee that you will not get just the generic prepared response.

Yip! Definitely testing us... what are people’s views of phoning the centre? Are they helpful if you call before the 60 working days?

Hello guys. This is the timeline for my husbands application:

04/10 - Online Application (PRIORITY)
07/10 - Biometrics done in Tirana
10/10 - Supporting documents sent to TLS scanning hub
14/11 - Case is not straight forward email.

It is currently 28 working days. Just wondering how long it can take now that email has been sent and when I should escalate.

Thanks.
We did our biometrics on the same day as you and got our not straightforward email today. Have you got any updates?
