Does anyone know how long it takes for a reply after the phonecall?
Individual case basis...
Me and ms1993 have been waiting for over a month since our interviews so literally can't tell what the delay is
Was yours an arranged interview or a random phone call?

I feel 4 u hun
And for ms1993

And literally cannot understand what the delay is especially after the phone call.. what could possibly take so long on making a decision

On thos forum
Spouse visa applications Pakistan timelines only there is someone called mac_ who posted saying he got a phone call on 17th january which went well and he was asked lots of questions about his mrs and work and was also told a decision would be made on his application either that same day or the following week

Seems like it's all down to luck

My phone call (from the HO) was on 18th December and haven’t heard anything. I asked the lady on the phone how long and she said early January. No news yet.

Really am wondering when they will email or message because it’s been nearly a month. it seems November applications have received responses. I applied in October and nothing yet. Priority service. 70 working days. can’t plan or arrange anything without knowing.

Hi nosh,

Yes I’ve escalated and they replied saying we are still making a decision, please wait 15 working days generic email.

I don’t think I’ll email them again now. Patiently waiting. Anyone else applied in October and still waiting?

I've had both the interviews, the random call for employment and arranged call for relationship. Both interviews were general questions and matched the format of other people's interviews on here like ms1993. Standard Straightforward and Simple. Most interviews are chosen at random if the employers are not well known or the relationship period/situation is not of general standard. Your interview was really different to what I've seen on here though and the time they took just to call up 🤔

Since you got your good news and we're 2 WD apart and priority, we decided to email HO last Friday to ask about our application status, we got a reply nearly straightaway saying awaiting decision n still with the caseworker 😔

It hasn’t been 15 working days yet. It’s strange how some people get a reply within 2 weeks and some don’t even receive a response for months on end. I expected them to contact me after the phone call but nothing. I guess every case is different. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Noshr- does your husband have to travel to the UK within a month? X

I also thought that they get in contact quite quickly after the phonecall but it seems like some people are still waiting ages.

It really does. We applied from Islamabad, early October 2019. First application all straightforward. It was a small business so I’m sure that’s why they rang. They haven’t asked for anymore documents or asked to interview my husband so not sure what the hold up. I thought it could be a backlog but everyone in November and even January applicants seem to be getting their visas so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not a clue.

Anyone here who has applied as a director of a limited company?

1. How many working days since your Biometrics?
2. What is the status of your application?

Can I ask dose anyone know how long to wait before appealing for spouse visa, if in the letter say u can appeal. and how long Appeal take to hear back from home office if applied from Islamabad. And dose the sponsor have to be in uk to appeal or a solicitor can do it on behalf of the sponsor.
Thank you.
Are u already expecting a negative response and preparing yourself for the next stage? :/
No it’s not like that,I trust allah swt a lot and I have hope, but sometimes u want to know something that put things in ur mind. I work with family business with my brother in a take away restaurant. And I need to provide 12 months bank statements and 12 months payslips which I did, and all the company documents which Some of them was not even ready. and I used solicitor, when My solicitor was applying on the 11th December 2019 for my husband I been told on the same day that I need 12 months bank statements and payslips and all the company documents and by then I was shocked cuz I didn’t know I need to provide all of them, I thought they need only 6 months, thanks to Allah that a month before my brother submitted company and vat tax return other wise it would have taken long time. And I was worry cuz my December pay was paid on the 4 January 2019 in cash as I was going for my wedding to Afghanistan on the 7th. As home Office do need That u must be paid in to ur bank account. And second thing is in April and may when tax code was change my brother was not aware of it and he paid me the same he used to pay before April, but he paid me 12 pounds less then the payslip show, and as I heard many had these mistake and they been rejected. This amount was paid back to me and I explained in a latter my brother has also explained that this error was made by him. I did provide dec 2020 payslip that was dated on 30 dec and statement that was dated on the 3rd of January 2020. Which bring it to 13 months bank statement and 13 months payslips.some one told me on this website that this bank statement and payslip will not be considered as they are dated after application submitted date. That’s why it really worry’s me soo much ... but now only one that I have trust in is ALLAH and if my husband case got excepted it’s would be really unbelievable.Because financial requirements MUST be as clear as possible for home Office. That’s why I was to know that’s how things gone work and it’s good to know about something u don’t know. So I can tell those how don’t even know how it works.
Thank you 😊

No I applied as employee,
Then why did your lawyer say you needed 12 months bank statements and company documents? For a employee it's only 6 months of Payslips and bank Statement and no company documents are required.

Thank you 😊
Hi Alina,

Did you apply as a director of a limited company? Or as a employee?
I don’t know I was applying in July 2019 and when I ask a solicitor he told me that u need to submit 12 months not 6 months, and he told me to wait till November so ur brother company can summit tax return. Then u can apply he said if u didn’t submitted 12 months payslips and statements and all company documents that’s required then it will definitely be rejected. I said okay but then my brother said that we will look for another solicitor I pad this solicitor 400 pounds already but then had to choose another. Who was a lady at first she didn’t told me u need to submit 12 months documents may be she didn’t know I work with family. But when I went to see her on the 11 dec 2019 to submit the application she said if u work with family u need to provide the same documents as if u was the director of the limited company, soo hard for me to hear the same thing the other solicitor told me, she said she will submit the application today, and give us some days to bring all the company documents, and then we send all of the documents to her on the 1st January 2020.
Need lots prayers🤲🏻😔

Okay that's very interesting. I don't know why you need to submit the same documents as a director of a limited company just because you work for family. I have my own company so I applied as a director and it was the most painful experience of my life. The amount of documents that were required were ridiculous. All we can do is pray and wait. Hopefully you will get a positive outcome.
