It's definitely good news.shyamgorasia wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 12:27 pmSure. Please see below timeline. Applied on behalf of partner from Kenya:
Online application submitted - 01 July 2020
Partner went for biometrics - 15 July 2020
Message to collect passport - 21 August 2020
1) If her visa has been approved and she has got the visa sticker in her passport is there anything else I need to do or can she just book her flight?
2) Just to confirm, does she only need to present following at UK immigration upon arrival or is there anything else? :
- her passport with the visa sticker
- TB certificate
- complete submit this form: https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-cont ... -travel-uk
I. E. Will she be asked for anything else or interviewed etc, just want to make sure so she's not held up there because we forgot something.
Thanks a lot
Shyam

I feel your pain AS4LYFT! It's well. Did you you use a solicitor for your application? If not, I recommend you get one and make an official enquiry.
Thanks guys, good news. She's got her visa. Thanks for all your help guys. One last thing, once she enters, where/when does she get stamped on her passport which shows the 33 month visa? Or is that shown on her BRP card once we collect?AmazonianX wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 5:05 pmshyamgorasia wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 12:27 pmSure. Please see below timeline. It would be helpful if you continued in your existing topic you already have as posts simply get lost in this topic.shyamgorasia wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 1:02 pmThanks guys, good news. And does she need to present both brp and the passport with vignette if she travels back and forth to Kenya etc?
Thanks
Shyam

Thanks a lot.1. Once she enters the UK, her temporary visa vignette will be stamped on arrival. She then has to collect her BRP card (which is her visa) within 10 days form your nominated Post Office. There is no such thing as 'stamped passport showing 33 months visa'.
2. If she travels out of the UK, she needs to travel with BOTH her passport and BRP card (don't lose it, expensive to replace). She needs the BRP card, which is the visa and proof of right to enter the UK to be able to board a plane. She needs the same on arrival in the UK to prove she has a valid visa to enter the UK.
